The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Chamber member Zen Loft Collective, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, May 16. This new wellness center is in downtown Batavia at 103 E. Wilson St., 2nd Floor.
Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the celebration with Zen Loft Collective co-owners Emily Beaupre and Kelly Vida, who serves as the collective’s manager. Among the well-wishers were Batavia Chamber president and CEO Margaret Perreault; Beth Walker, executive director of Batavia MainStreet; and Anthony Isom, City of Batavia’s economic development manager. Present were Patti Anselme, special events coordinator; Shirley Mott, chamber communications and membership coordinator; Batavia Chamber board members and fellow business owners as well as instructors, family, and friends.
Zen Loft Collective is a wellness center in downtown Batavia. It currently offers yoga and other fitness classes, massage and hourly space rental for artists and practitioners. Owners Emily Beaupre and Kelly Vida bring their expertise from successful individual practices to Zen Loft Collective. Emily is the owner of Zen Loft Wellness Center in downtown Aurora. She is a licensed massage therapist with more than 20 years of wellness industry experience and owns her own practice Sunshine Wellness Services. Kelly is the founder and owner of Empowered Mama Fitness. Its mission is to provide fitness options, special events, and educational resources designed to empower women through all stages of their lives, with a special focus on motherhood.
