The longtime Montgomery tradition, an annual tree-lighting at Village Hall, is getting a makeover this year. This Fall, the event was awarded a grant from ComEd and the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus “Powering the Holidays” program. The tree-lighting and visit with Santa will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, in front of Village Hall, 200 N. River Street. The unveiling of the Festival of Trees will run through December 30 at Village Hall and along River Street.
