As we celebrate Community Foundation Week and prepare for Thanksgiving, we at the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley (CFFRV) want to share our gratitude for your support, partnership, and ongoing dedication to making a difference in our community. We are thankful for our donors, whose generosity provides millions of dollars in scholarships and grants each year.
We are thankful for our previous administrators, current and past members of our Board of Directors, committee members, mentors, and volunteers. It is a privilege to carry on the legacy of those who have come before us and an honor to work alongside such talented and inspiring individuals. We are delighted to share that we have a new Board member, Wendy White Eagle, and thrilled to congratulate Joyce Hemphill for an award that she received this month.
We are thankful for our nonprofit and grant-making partners. On Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30, we can support agencies that do so much all year.
We are thankful for our YEP youth, the future leaders of this community, they are an inspiration. We are thankful for our veterans. We are thankful for our diversity as a Foundation, community, and country. This month we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. We are grateful for one another.
We welcome the newest member of our team, Cintia Abney, as our administrative assistant.
