State representative Matt Hanson, D-Montgomery, will be a partner with the Fox Valley United Way and area libraries for a diaper drive through October, which will help stock pantries and assist families in need.

“This drive is an opportunity for residents to help make a difference by helping families take care of their youngest,” Hanson said. “No matter the size of your donation, every bit helps and I’m thankful for those who choose to join us in this effort.”

Residents can drop off diaper donations throughout October at a collection bin during normal business hours inside the following locations:

  • Hanson’s District Office, 1605 W. Wilson, Suite 112 in Batavia;
  • St. Charles Public Library, 1 South 6th Avenue in St. Charles;
  • Geneva Public Library, 227 S. 7th Street in Geneva;
  • Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Avenue in Batabia;
  • Oswego Public Library Oswego Campus, 32 W. Jefferson Street in Oswego; and
  • Oswego Public Library Montgomery Campus, 1111 Reading Drive in Montgomery.

“I appreciate the support from the Fox Valley United Way and every local library that has chosen to participate,” Hanson said. “This is a generous community that knows how to come together to help others, and I’m grateful for every single donation we receive.”
