This is an honest effort to make voters think;
For this is not the time to let our fortunes sink.
Americans will fight against all doom and gloom;
It’s in our make-up—we give optimism room.
No matter what, we will ourselves to forge ahead
And that mind-set has always stood us in good stead!
In fact, this optimism is now viewed our trait;
We’ve always risen from the ashes of dire fate.
Like always, all we have to do is to believe!
When that is done, there is no task we can’t relieve!
Look up! Step forward! And prepare yourself. Stand Tall!
There’s nothing we, the people cannot do…our call!
This must be done while we the people still have voice;
For we must realize, this time, that we have no choice!
