Forty members and friends of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley gathered together Thursday, Dec. 14, for the Club’s second annual holiday party at Oak Street Restaurant in North Aurora.
The evening began at 5:30 p.m., with a social gathering and dinner. Following dinner a raffle was held of several donated gift baskets. In between each gift basket drawing, everyone participated in singing Christmas songs, led by Club member, Arlene Hawks. A wrapped gift exchange game concluded the evening festivities, and each member chose a wrapped gift, or one that was already opened. Some gifts were passed back and forth many times until the last gift was opened.
The members of the Diabetes Club of Fox Valley wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to next year and our continued fight against diabetes. Thanks to everyone who contributed to our cause!

The Diabetes Club of Fox Valley meets monthly, January through November, on the second Thursday of the month, at the historic Gray’s Mill Estate, 211 N. River Street, in Montgomery. Social/dinner at 5:30 p.m. and meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. with guests always welcome!
