The early lead drew an assortment of schools in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 3A boys cross country State meet Saturday in Detweiler Park in Peoria. Carl Sandburg won the team championship and was followed, in order, by Hinsdale Central, Downers Grove North, New Trier, and Oswego. Micha Wilson of St. Charles East won the individual championship. Parker Nold of Oswego East was in 10th place and Ethan Forsell of Oswego was 17th.Mark Krueger/The Voice
