Illinois police rally for Special Olympics

Law enforcement officers will be at more than 300 Dunkin’ location across the State to rally the communities in support of Special Olympics athletes.

The fundraiser for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois has raised more than $5.75 million in Illinois in 18 years. This year’s Coffee for Champions event will be Friday, Aug. 20, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Each guest who makes a donation to the Torch Run will receive a coupon for a free donut. Guests who donate $10 or more will receive a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last. For a list of participating locations, log on to SOILL.org.
