The American Legion Riders from Post 181 in Sandwich and Post 489 in Yorkville will be host to Armed Forces Run, 150 miles, Saturday, Aug. 4, to benefit Gifts to the Yanks Who Gave. Registration will be the day of the event at the Sandwich VFW, 713 S. Main Street, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.. All bikes will set out at 10:30 a.m..
Ride stops will include Mendota VFW, Dixon VFW, Ottawa Legion, and end at Yorkville Legion. To participate in the ride is $20. per person which includes a barbecue dinner and a live band, Cowboy Upp, to start at 5:30 p.m.. Dinner and band tickets are $10..
