The Jennings Terrace Auxiliary will be host to the 61st Annual Fall Fest, Saturday, Nov. 2 at Jennings Terrace, 275 S. LaSalle Street, in Aurora. A breakfast with a variety of pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice, will be served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Jennings Terrace Assisted Lifestyle Main Dining Room. Tickets may be purchased early or at the door for $6 for adults and $4 for children under six years old. Yogurt, granola, and fruit parfaits, will be available for $5. Bazaar Booths will be open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
Booths will include The Residents Boutique, Book Nook, Vintage Jewelry and Grandma’s Attic Treasures, (a garage sale buyers indoor delight!). Items offered at Grandma’s Attic will include household items, linens, toys, tools, holiday decorations, and glassware. A presale for Attic Treasures will be offered Friday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Raffle baskets, a cash raffle, and chances to win 50 Illinois Scratch Off Lottery Tickets, ($1, $2, and $5 values), will be offered. Winners do not need to be present to win. All drawings will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.
The Fall Bazaar Fundraiser is sponsored by the Jennings Terrace Auxiliary. The volunteer support group was organized in 1958. Proceeds from The Bazaar and Pancake Breakfast support resident activities, entertainment, social events and special projects throughout the year.
