Dear editor;
I am running for Village of Oswego Trustee. There are six of us candidates running for three open seats.
If elected, my plan is to get up to speed as quickly as possible, and fill in the gaps between what I think I know and learn what I need to know.
Then, with open dialogue and cooperation, work together with others on the board, to include the mayor and six trustees, to invest your tax dollars wisely, plan ahead for water safety and availability, grow our tax base with commercial investment that will help relieve the property tax burden on us to keep our good schools and teachers and provide jobs, equip our police and fire departments to maintain our safety needs, get our senior center up and running, secure our Metra stop, and encourage mask-wearing while vaccines rise to 70%-80% for possible herd immunity, all for the greater benefit of Oswego.
I can do my part only if you vote for me Tuesday, April 6, or, with early voting March 22 –April 1, at Oswego Village Hall. If needed, you can register to vote (bring two forms of ID, one with your current address) and vote the same day.
Thank you.
Judy Siedlecki, Candidate for Village of Oswego Trustee
