The longtime Ride in Kane Program has transitioned to a new, countywide Coordinated Ride model, to make it easier for riders to register, schedule trips and access transportation. The enhanced program features one system, one set of rules and the same travel destinations for all eligible residents across Kane County.

Under the new coordinated system, Pace Suburban Bus will continue operating the dial-a-ride service but will now manage a single rider registration system and a centralized call center. This provides riders with one place to register and schedule their rides.

Ride in Kane provides 24/7 curb-to-curb transportation for eligible Kane County residents:

•Seniors (65+) and individuals with disabilities

Travel anywhere within Kane County and to municipalities partially within the county. Trips beginning or ending outside Kane County must start or finish within the county.

Fares:

$5 per trip (first 10 miles)

$2 per additional mile

Payment accepted via Ventra at the time of reservation or exact cash onboard
