Kane County Forest Preserves’ Maple Sugaring Days will take place from noon to 3 p.m., March 1-2 at LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, 37W700 Dean Street, St. Charles. Admission is free.
Participants can learn how to tap a maple tree and try to drill and set a tap themselves.
Attendees can relax with a mug of hot cocoa and enjoy ice cream drizzled with syrup from our Maple Cafe.
New this year is a beer tent featuring an exclusive maple stout brewed with Funks Grove Maple Syrup, crafted by Riverlands Brewing. Perfectly sweet and rich, it’s a must-try for all beer lovers! Thanks to Culver’s of St. Charles for their ice cream donation and donuts courtesy of Original Country Donuts Elgin.
