Kane County Treasurer Chris Lauzen announced that the 2024 payable in 2025 Kane County Real Estate Tax Bills will be in the mail on or before May 1. Treasurer Lauzen shared that the first installment will be due June 2 and the second installment will be due September.
The entire Treasurer’s staff recognizes and sympathizes with residents about the heavy financial burden that property taxes represent in family and business budgets.
Taxpayers have multiple options to make payments in the following methods:
•Online payments at Treasurer.KaneCountyIL.gov. E-checks are free. Our staff can walk you through the process.
•Mailing your check payment using the payment coupon and envelopes provided with your tax bill.
•In our Drive-Up Payment Drop Box.
•Many Kane County Banks will accept on-time payments at their drive-up facilities, if accompanied with a payment coupon.
•Kane County Clerk’s Branch Office, located at 5 E. Downer Place, Suite F, in downtown Aurora (personal checks or money orders only).
•Kane County Treasurer’s Office during regular business hours.
