The event will be from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 29, Kane County Circuit Clerk, 540 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. Free document shredding, of up to 4 banker boxes, will be available along with collecting latex paint, aerosols, and certain compressed gas containers (propane, butane, CO2 and MAPP gas 16oz or less for $1), children’s car seats for $20, clothing (all types), shoes, and home goods. Please no wet or moldy items, furniture, electronics (other than toys), or sports equipment. Those who are bringing multiple materials should pack their cars carefully, so that clothing, textiles and home goods are closest to the doors, paint, aerosols, gas containers and car seats are in the middle, and paper for shredding is in the back. This is the order in which you will visit the stations. If you have any items to drop off other than shredding, please plan to stay to the right as you come around the northeast corner of the building.
