The Aurora and Fox Valley area community are invited to Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Dr. (corner Edgelawn & Indian Trail), Aurora, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 19, for the “Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day (drive-thru only)”
The Kiwanis Club of Aurora in its 106th year celebration will present the annual breakfast event to provide funds for their work with children and the community. For two years, the breakfast date has been canceled because of COVID-19.
Kiwanis Club of Aurora president Bob Bridgman said, “I’m so happy for the continued community support of this outstanding event since 1951.”
Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates approximately $30,000, primarily to Aurora’s youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships (managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley); subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the high school and college levels.
Tickets may be purchased from Aurora Kiwanis members for $10. On-line purchases at bit.ly/3K5fz3L.
