• Knit and Crochet Group, Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

This informal group works on individual projects, discusses types and colors of yarns, and helps each other with new or tricky patterns. Participants bring their own supplies. No registration required.

• Wednesday Night Book Group, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m..

Get together with other readers for an interesting discussion. “Educated” by Tara Westover will be discussed. The book for March, “The Mistress” by Danielle Steel, will be available for check-out. New members are welcome any time.

• Drop-In Job Search & Resume Help, Thursday, Feb. 21, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..

An Illinois WorkNet representative will be available to answer job search questions and provide resume assistance.

• Have you thought about becoming a U.S. citizen?, Monday, Feb. 25, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..

This presentation will include information (English and Spanish) from the USCIS government website: The application (N-400), Civics test questions and if you are eligible to take the test in another language, the speaking and writing test, the interview, obstacles to obtaining citizenship, documents to begin gathering.
