The fine large house at the corner of Oak and Cedar in Aurora’s historic Tanner District will be open one more afternoon to visit and savor the spirit of the holidays which has been enjoyed there for 162 years.
The last opportunity to visit the house museum will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29 known for its fine Victorian style and the fascinating history of the family which lived there.
The open house features self-guided tours and you can vote for your favorite room as decorated by 8 volunteer designers. The experience is free, but donations are appreciated.
After Sunday, the house will be closed until June, when it will reopened for twice-weekly guided tours.
