• Wheaton Electronic Recycling: The monthly electronic recycling event in Wheaton will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Saturday, Aug. 11 at parking lot No. 9 at the corner of Liberty and Carlton next to the Public Works Storage Yard. The collection sponsored by eWorks ESI will be open to all residents and small businesses. All types of televisions will be accepted for: $25 per under 21 inch screen and $35 per 21 inch screen and larger. Cash or credit card only. Items not accepted: Large appliances, hazardous and chemical waste.
