• Bliss Woods habitat restoration work day: A habitat restoration work day will be held at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 27. Attendees will collect and distribute native seeds and cut and stack invasive brush and trees. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, gloves and sturdy shoes. We will meet at the inside, main parking lot in the park. Enter off of Bliss Road. Refreshments will be served. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
