• Bliss Woods habitat restoration work day: A habitat restoration work day will be held at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 27. The group will plant shrubs and pull out invasive plants.
Bliss Woods is a beautiful, high-quality woodland host to many unusual plants. Removing invasive species will help sustain its unique nature. Please dress for the weather. Sturdy footwear and work gloves are especially important.
We will meet at 42w635 Kedeka Road in the parking lot of Templo Belem church. Refreshments will be served. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
