Aurora Lions Club will celebrate annual Candy Days Friday and Saturday, Oct. 10-11.
Volunteers wearing bright yellow aprons will accept donations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside Jewel-Osco, 1952 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora.
Tootsie pops will be offered in appreciation. The annual fundraiser, organized by the Lions of Illinois Foundation, supports programs and services for individuals with vision and hearing impairments. Services include: Providing free vision and hearing screenings, Operating Camp Lions, for children with sight and hearing loss, and providing low-vision support and orientation and mobility training.
