And no matter how difficult something is, one should never quit.”
The idea to invite Gary to APLD stemmed from the universal appeal of magic, especially among children. “Children love magic shows!” said Senior Children’s Manager, Monica Boyer. “This is a fun treat to join in on a no-school day.” This program, part of the library’s ongoing efforts to provide access to fun and informative experiences, aims to bring the community together for an afternoon of wonder and fun. Boyer also shared her excitement about the program and seeing the children’s reactions. “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s face when Gary performs his fantastic set! Gary Kantor is a renowned performer in Illinois and his fun-filled magic show is entertaining for both children and their caregivers.”
