Marmion Academy is proud to announce that senior, Juan Campos, Jr. of Aurora, has been awarded the prestigious Global Seal of Biliteracy (www.theglobalseal.com), an international language certificate that recognizes and celebrates his level of proficiency in Spanish and English.

The Global Seal of Biliteracy validates language skills and expands future opportunities for its recipients. Available in more than 100 languages, the Global Seal of Biliteracy has been issued by employers, universities, and secondary schools in more than 30 countries and five continents.
“Juan Campos, Jr. is the first student at Marmion to achieve this honor. He has worked very hard to develop his language skills. We are thrilled to see his efforts recognized with the Global Seal of Biliteracy-Working Fluency. This is the highest level a student can achieve with taking the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam to qualify for the Global Seal of Biliteracy,” said Maestra L. Acosta-Knutson, Spanish Instructor at Marmion. “This certification not only celebrates his accomplishments but also opens doors for him in academia and the global job market.”
The Global Seal of Biliteracy is more than just a certification; it is a passport to opportunity. It allows recipients to showcase their language skills to any school or employer across state lines and international borders. In today’s global economy, proficiency in multiple languages has tremendous value, and employers want candidates whose skills are verifiable and comparable. We are proud that Juan Campos, Jr. of Marmion Academy is now part of this global community of bilingual and multilingual individuals.
We congratulate Juan Campos, Jr. on this significant achievement and look forward to seeing the opportunities that his Global Seal of Biliteracy will bring him in the future.
