Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ is holding an essay contest related to Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January 2025.
One middle school and one high school student can each win $50 for their essays on the topic of what Martin Luther King, Jr. Day means to them.
The essay contest will be open to all area middle school and high school students.
Essays should be no more than 700 words and should be emailed to adminasst@yorkvilleucc.org by Monday, Jan. 13, 2025.
