Metea Valley High School girls volleyball team celebrates its Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Class 4A (largest school) State championship Saturday, Nov. 13 at Redbird Arena in Normal. Metea Valley defeated Mother McAuley High School of Chicago in the State championship match Saturday, 15-25, 25-18, 25-17. Metea Valley, in Aurora and in School District 204, defeated Barrington in the semifinals Friday, 25-23, 25-13. Nazareth of LaGrange Park won the Class 3A State championship and Montini Catholic of Lombard won the 2A State championship.Metea Valley volleyball photo
