The spirit of giving was alive and well in Montgomery as the Montgomery Rotary Club announced a generous donation of $1,000 to Boulder Hill Elementary School Library. This donation not only demonstrates the club’s commitment to education but also underscores their dedication to serving the local community.
The donation was officially presented to the school’s Library media specialist Heidi Podjasek on April 30th, during a check presentation ceremony attended by representatives from both the Montgomery Rotary Club and Boulder Hill Elementary School.
“We are thrilled to contribute to the enhancement of educational resources at Boulder Hill Elementary School,” stated Rotary Club Foundation chairman Lucas Albright. “Education is the cornerstone of our society, and we believe that every child deserves access to quality learning materials. By donating to the school library, we hope to support the academic growth and development of the students.”
The $1,000 donation will be utilized to purchase new books and supplies, enriching the library’s collection and providing students with a wider range of reading materials to explore. These resources will not only aid in academic studies but also foster a love for reading and lifelong learning among the students.
