Mayor on the Move Saturday
Montgomery Village president Matt Brolley will be host to a “Mayor on the Move” Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. Walk, talk, and get fit with the mayor! Meet at the shelter at the north end of Montgomery Park, near River and Taylor Streets, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.. Then everyone is invited to walk with the mayor on the trails along the Fox River from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.. Children are welcome to participate.

Sugar Grove Chamber has scholarships
The Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry is offering and accepting applications for 2018 scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The scholarships are awarded, by committee selection, from received applications by individuals residing in the Sugar Grove community.
The scholarship applications, with requirements, are available on the chamber website www.sugargrovechamber.org or by calling the chamber office at 630-466-7895. All applications must be completed, submitted and mailed by July 1, to the Sugar Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Scholarship Committee, PO Box 765, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.

Oswego Senior Center talent auditions
The Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington Street in Oswego, seeks performers for its second annual talent show.
All ages are invited to auditions from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 13 and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 14 in the Center’s cafeteria.
The show is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 at the Center. Admission is $5..
