Mr. Marmion helps charity

Marmion Academy’s Student Council, along with the Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Program, will be host to Mr. Marmion, a talent and performance show to benefit charity. Students from each class will compete in four events and a panel of faculty judges will determine who will win the coveted 2020 Mr. Marmion crown!

This year’s Mr. Marmion contestants are: seniors Ben Okolita of Geneva, Ben Riner of Geneva, and Anthony Tinerella of North Aurora; juniors Ryan Fitzgerald of West Chicago, Collin Roin of North Aurora, and Anthony Standish of Aurora; sophomores JT Gollinger of Naperville, Adrian Ruiz of Aurora, and Kevin Schoeberle of Woodridge; and freshmen Alex Nitchoff of Lemont and Isaiah Smith of Malta.

All proceeds raised through the event will be donated to benefit the family of Mallory T., a young local girl with Spina bifida, because the family faces mounting medical expenses.

Show time is at 7 p.m. Friday, March 6 at Marmion Academy’s Alumni Hall, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora, enter through door No. 7. Tickets are $7 each or $5 if purchased in advance. To purchase tickets in advance, please contact Mark Malkowski at 630-897-6936 ext. 296 or mmalkowski@marmion.org.
