NASCAR’s Reddick riding hot with two victories in a row

NASCAR Cup Series, Autotrader 400, EchoPark Speedway, Hampton, Ga., Sunday, Feb. 22.

Tyler Reddick, driver for Michael Jordan’s 23XI racing team, won the pole and his second race in a row, with an overtime victory! Following in second place was Chase Briscoe, Ross Chastain in third, Carson Hocevar in fourth, and Daniel Suarez in fifth.

The first stage was led by Reddick and Joe Logano, but Austin Cendric took the Stage 1 victory.

In Stage 2, Riley Herbst and Austin Dillon spun into the wall and seven other cars were involved in the melee.

Later Kyle Busch hit the wall and spun out.

Kyle Larson bounced of the wall in last lap of Stage 2 and Bubba Wallace won the stage.

In Stage 3, with 60 laps to go, Shane Van Gisbergen’s car spun into the infield. Hamlin’s car got loose and hit Reddick.

Then a wreck with 11 laps to go set up an overtime finish.

On the first start, Chris Bell wrecked.

On the second start Reddick got ahead of Briscoe to take the win!

NASCAR Cup Series, America 250 Florida Duels at Daytona, Daytona International Speedway, Daytona, Fla., Thursday, Feb. 12.

The two Daytona 500 Duel races, set the position for the line in the Daytona 500.

The first duel was won by Logano ahead of teammate Ryan Blaney. The second duel was won by Chase Elliott ahead of Hocevar.

Kyle Busch won the pole position for the 500. But, Reddick won the Daytona 500! Following in second was Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Logano in third, Elliott in fourth, and Brad Keselowski in fifth.

Zane Smith was the winner of Stage 1.

There was a big crash on lap 65 which took out Connor Zilisch and Ty Gibbs.

A big wreck occurred on lap 125 when Justin Allgaier was hit by Denny Hamlin and in the aftermath 20 cars were involved!

Wallace won Stage 2.

In Stage 3, with 11 laps to go, Hamlin wrecked with Bell.

And then there was a wreck at the finish, but Reddick won with a helpful push from his teammate Riley Herbst!

NASCAR Cup Series, Cook Out Clash, Bowman Gray Stadium, Winston-Salem, N.C..

The race was won by Josh Berry. Following in second was William Byron, Blaney in third, Daniel Suarez in fourth, and Hamlin in fifth.
