Neighborhoods throughout the Village of Oswego are invited to join neighbors across approximately 16,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide for National Night Out Tuesday, Aug. 6.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Together, we are making that happen.
Neighbors throughout Oswego and across the Nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement. The Oswegoland Park District will be the host and the community is invited to an evening that includes frolicking at the Prairie Point Park Splash Pad, 4120 Plainfield Road, Oswego from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. The Park District will provide hot dogs, games, and fun!
This is a great opportunity to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of the partnerships between emergency responders and the community. By working closely together, citizens and the Village of Oswego can make amazing things happen!
