Poem: Never A Dull Moment

How often have you had occasion to declare
In honest fervent tone-of-voice “It isn’t fair!”
Or having seen an ending you would dwell upon,
Play out the musing “What if?”, pro or con.
Or, on an accolade or discipline,, the plea
Which you would choose to voice quite honestly “Why me?”
Then, too, a voice you have no cause to hear a lot,
Real or imagined, it is crisp and clear: “Why not?”
