Recently-hired Aurora Housing Authority (AHA) executive director Ralph Jordan officially was welcomed last week by Aurora mayor Richard Irvin, members of the Aurora City Council, and community leaders.
Mayor Richard Irvin commented on Jordan’s taking the helm at the AHA by saying that “Jordan comes at a time when the future of the city is optimistic, and the changes under way are intended to benefit every citizen.”
Jordan, who has nearly three decades of experience working in the public housing sector, is relocating from the Indianapolis (Ind.) Housing Agency, where he served as the chief operating officer managing a large inventory of public housing units, Section 8 vouchers, and other federally-assisted housing programs.
Jordan assumes responsibility for managing the AHA’s low-income public housing, project-based voucher and housing choice voucher programs.
