Village of North Aurora
The health and safety of all North Aurora residents and community is the Village government of North Aurora’s highest priority. On behalf of myself, the Village Board, and Village staff members, we are committed to providing essential Village services while engaging in best practices to minimize the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and protect both our residents and staff members.
Starting Wednesday, March 18 the Village Hall and Public Works buildings will be closed to the public with an anticipated reopen date of Monday, April 6. The North Aurora Police Department lobby will remain open. I want to assure you, Village employees are still here and the Village is functioning so we can continue to best serve our community and provide all necessary services to residents, while keeping our staff members safe and preventing additional contact.
Any service provided at the Village Hall can be done by phone or E-mail with the exception of garbage stickers; please see the necessary contact phone numbers below so we can best give assistance. Regarding garbage stickers, there are other locations throughout North Aurora where they can be purchased; please visit our website for a full list. Items such as water bills or permit fees can be paid over the phone. We will monitor our water bill drop box outside of Village Hall where permits and other documents can be deposited. Village staff members are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. electronically to assist you and answer your questions and concerns.
We are in an unprecedented time. We must all do our best to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, which call upon us to begin social distancing and limiting our exposure, as well as direction and guidance provided by both Federal and State agencies. As a local government, it is our responsibility to lead by example and help alleviate the effects from COVID-19.
I encourage everyone to visit our Village of North Aurora Facebook page at www.facebook.com/villageofnorthaurora and our website www.northaurora.org.
