At its November 27 meeting, the Oswego Village Board of Trustees approved a final planned unit development (PUD) and plat for the construction of a new Starbucks off of Orchard Road just north of Route 34 in Oswego.
The plans include Starbucks’ new prototype building which has a larger interior and outdoor patio, as well drive-through service. On an outlot just north of Jewel-Osco, the new business will have access from Station Drive.
A Valvoline Instant Oil Change will be built on the property next to Starbucks under the same PUD and plat that was approved by the Board.
“We’re excited to welcome a new Starbucks to Oswego,” Village president Ryan Kauffman said. “The Orchard Road corridor continues to attract new businesses and services to the southwest side of Oswego to serve our residents.”
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in Spring 2024 and is expected to be completed in the Fall.
