Grab family and friends and embark on an outdoor fall scavenger hunt, Saturday, Oct. 26, at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve, 41W600 Hughes Road, Elburn
Revel in the rich hues of autumn as you explore the woodland in search for clues.
First, meet a naturalist at the preserve shelter to gather directions and supplies, then hit the trails to see if you can find everything on the list! Once done, head back to the shelter to claim your prize on a first come, first served basis.
After the hunt, explore the elaborate trail system, enjoy lunch in the shelter and experience the beauty Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve has to offer.
