• Senior Seminar State senator Sue Rezin host, Friday, May 10, 10 a.m. to noon.

Attendees can learn about available services, including Meals on Wheels, Family Caregiver Support, and senior community programs. Ask questions about Medicare. Receive informational legislative brochures.

• Drop-In Job Search & Resume Help, Thursday, May 16, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..

An Illinois WorkNet representative will be available to answer your job search questions and provide resume assistance.

• Movie Night, Monday, May 20, 6:30 a.m. to 8:50 p.m..

This riveting film, based on the book First Man, combines Neil Armstrong’s moving human story with the perils and exhilarations of spaceflight. Rated PG-13. 2018.

• Pizza & Pages, Tuesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 9, 4:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m..

For students in grades third through fifth. We’ll all read the same book before the meeting, talk about it, and have some pizza. Call 630-552-2025 to register.

• Sounds Fun, Wednesday, May 8, 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m..

Letter sounds and handwriting will be explored in a fun, interactive, and multisensory way. We’ll have a variety of phonics stations for self-paced exploration. Targeted to ages three to six, with an adult. Call 630-552-2025 to register.
