Plano Firefighters pose with The Grinch, who helped collect donations for Plano Rockin’ Christmas. Plano Rockin’ Christmas events were Friday, Dec. 6 in Plano. The parade featured the arrival of Santa Claus began at Plano High School, rode 6.5 miles throughout Plano. Festivities at the Depot included Christmas music by the EG Johns School Band, cookies and hot cocoa by Kay Mulliner, the awarding of the Ross Greiter Memorial Award to Julie Wade, Lighting Main Street, pictures with The Grinch, music by Brandon Webber, and the Plano Firemen and Plano Police Department collecting donations to provide Christmas dinner gift cards to more than 300 families.
