The Plano Middle School softball team was recognized at the September Plano Community Unit School District No. 88 Board of Education meeting. In just their second year of play, the team went from only winning one game in 2023 to winning six games in 2024. They won the regional quarterfinal game, 5-4, but lost in the semifinal game 6-4.
