Poem: Not Just Opinion

Okay, you hate the Jews, so you don’t need to lie;
But there are many factors here which must apply.
So now before you take a stance, and hoist a cry,
You must, in all sincerity of mind, state… Why!
This is ‘the down and dirty time’ I must persist;
I’m hoping that your mind-set’s something I have missed,
I thought that I had seen it all, like the clenched fist,
The verbal onslaughts on which all of you insist.
This hatred thing of Jews, in which you’ve been immersed,
Must bluntly be definable to be so cursed.
What have they done to you, to have this hatred nursed?
To have you act against them—have that hatred burst!
If you think there are others who will understand,
Who will applaud your act—their dying by your hand.
If you think this is simply something God had planned,
You’re wrong! And you will feel society’s demand!
