All ages are invited to a reception October 1 at the Gary Brown Art Gallery/Studio in Aurora with featured artist Randy Meyers, who is known as: “The Recreator”. The showing of Randy’s original lamps are created from repurposed industrial parts. Randy works at a furious pace, and often has sold out early at flea markets, shows, and expos.
Due to Randy’s reputation of selling out early at shows, the Gary Brown Art Gallery, at 7 S. Broadway, Aurora, has an open invitation to come to the gallery from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. September 28-29, and/or September 30, prior to First Fridays, October 1, to place a down payment for any art creation or lamps to purchase. The lamps will be marked sold and available to take home any time after 9 p.m. October 1.
All guests can explore, experience and enjoy, original, amazing, and unusual art creations aimed to stimulate mind and emotions. All art is available for purchase, including personalized custom orders. We believe that art can enrich your life!
The Gary Brown Art Gallery/ Studio opened April 17, 2019. Gary Brown is an artist who specializes in creating mixed-media assemblages and believes that, art can enrich a life. The Studio’s mission is to, widen the scope of how people in the community enjoy and experience fine art. Every month, the Studio features a new local artist and predominantly features professional artists whose art is affordable for the general public.
