Presidents, until recently, understood why immigration needed to be controlled. The reasons are easy to understand. Assimilation will not take place when immigration is done in mass. And when immigrants of a culture live together in one area of a city or state, they will continue to speak their own language and live according to their own culture. They will also vote as a block. Native born Americans, in short order, become minorities in their own communities. And when new immigrants vote as a block, they easily become the majority vote. The citizens of Minneapolis have found themselves in this situation and powerless.
New immigrants with no working skills, and from a third world country, Somalia, have become dependent on state aid in Minnesota. Minnesotans have typically voted for big government welfare to save those who can’t or won’t earn a living. Now they find themselves being robbed blind. You will never find problems a “bleeding heart liberal” can’t solve by spending your money. Infinite tolerance eventually kills the golden goose!
This is the mentality of the Wayne’s World Johnsons, Chas “The Sponge “Coddingtons, and the Mamdani communists. And if you have the audacity to question the motivations of those advocating for unlimited illegal immigration and welfare, you’ll be called a racist.
We used to be called a melting pot because the vast majority of people, who emigrated to the U.S., eventually melded into our culture. There were exceptions, especially in our largest cities, even before these most recent millions of arrivals during Joe Biden. When people emigrated to the U.S. in large numbers, and were allowed to stay together in communities, many didn’t learn English. Others in these “tribal” groups learned only as much English as necessary. Vast numbers of people who emigrated in large numbers, settled in specific parts of major cities. Then they lived together as they did in the old country, while taking over entire sections of cities. They recreated miniaturized versions of the countries they came from. These tribal people continued speaking the same language, continued to practice the same culture, marry within the same culture, and finally, find employment within the area their group settled in. Muslim populations in Europe have grown in numbers in major cities using this strategy.
If you’re breathing oxygen, you’ve heard about the Somalis in Minneapolis. If you listen to CNN, you’ve heard a focus on the harassment of Somali residents rather than the theft alleged in recent videos.
Approximately 90,000 Somalis live in and around Minneapolis. Their huge numbers influence what happens in Minneapolis and Minnesota. They vote as a block. Representative Ilhan Omar, in our House of Representatives, was elected this way.
Tim Walz, the governor and Keith Ellison the State attorney general, both benefited from votes in the Somali community. The Somalis are a block of votes tied together by the same culture and language.
Minneapolis politicians know what they must say and do for the Somali vote. The Somalis vote for those politicians promising them money and services.
There seems to be a pact between Leftist Democratic politicians and the Somali community. A percentage of the money flows back to the Democratic Party. There are allegations that billions of Federal tax dollars have been disbursed to this population as a consequence of fraudulent grant proposals for child care.
Now you understand what open borders and immigration has been about! Votes and power!
