Dear editor;

March 9, a huge number of us had the pleasure to meet with District 14 congresswoman Lauren Underwood in Joliet. We learned the many suits filed and ways our courts are fighting back against White House Executive Orders and other illegal actions taken by South African unelected billionaire, Elon Musk, and his three intruders rifling through our Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare data, firing federal employees including nuclear weapons workers and medical workers working on preventing Ebola from reaching America, then trying to find them to hire back again, and ending USAID.

Donald Trump and Musk lie about waste, fraud, and abuse that Musk is supposedly finding that adds up to millions, billions of dollars the federal government is supposedly saving because 300-year-olds are supposedly receiving Social Security checks, and closing and locking the doors of federal agencies, taking down their signs and putting the buildings up for sale. Firing inspector generals who would investigate such goings on and all types of other federal employees, many of whom do not work in D.C,, but perhaps right in your neighborhood such as FBI and other law enforcement for the Department of Defense, veterans in Veterans Affairs, pediatric and adult cancer researchers, Alzheimer’s researchers, Department of Agriculture members, lawyers and medical professionals to carpenters, electricians, cooks, clerical, national park rangers, and literally closing the Department of Education.

Attacking the most vulnerable first by going after Medicaid, then right after Social Security, and Medicare, next could be privatizing the Post Office and Amtrak. Republicans have been working on this plan to hurt those who are the poorest and who are considered middle class America for years. All of these closings, firings, and cuts for Trump to give another huge, and this time, permanent tax cut to his billionaire friends, the ones who pour money into places such as Wisconsin to elect Brad Schimmel instead of Susan Crawford for Wisconsin Supreme Court.

In the 2024 election millions of black voters were unable to votie especially in swing states due to voter suppression. If you want to know how that works, look up Greg Palast.

Here’s a couple of other sites to keep track of what’s going on: DemocracyForward.org and JustSecurity.org. There are three special election seats that could flip the House of Representatives Democratic. Do your research to contact your local and federal representatives and I have a list of Republican reps and senators to help make this happen.

Let’s get together if you feel as I do that we need to stop the menace in the White House and his buddy Elon Musk. Find a way to contact me.
