Dear editor;

We are “Aurora’s Four Ms”, Myrna Molina, Mavis Bates, Monica Silva, and Michelle Gumz, and we are excited to announce that we all will be running again in 2022 to retain our seats on the Kane County Board. We are grateful for the support that Aurora has given us in the past and eager to put our experience to good use to continue our efforts to support Kane County families, put an end to the coronavirus pandemic in Kane, protect the environment, and keep waste out of government.

We hope you can join us for our Campaign Kickoff and Fundraiser Party Monday, Nov. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 1 East Benton Street, in downtown Aurora. We will be serving appetizers with beer and wine. It will be a night of food, music, and a great time! Masks required. If you can’t attend and would like to donate please go to Actblue.com or call us for more information.

The 2022 general election is one year away, and it’s time to get started on a brand new campaign. We will need your help to get our petitions signed starting January 13. If you would like to help us get our names on the ballot, please call Myrna Molina, District 1, at 630-621-7818; Mavis Bates, District 4, at 630-605-9244; Monica Silva, District 7, at 630-709-7408; or Michelle Gumz at 630-803-2863.

Thank you for your continued support of our re-election campaigns and for helping us celebrate our campaign kickoff. It will be a fun evening, with new friends and old, and we hope to see you Monday, Nov. 22.
