The Kendall County Salute to Veterans wishes to show its appreciation for all veterans and active duty military by treating them to a free steak dinner, June 22 at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, 10826 IL Route 71, Yorkville. The dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the program will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and include a speaker, and performances by Sweet Reminder, a 1940s and 1960s music review.
Tickets for any past or present military are free and non-military are $30., half of which will be a donation for a veteran’s meal. Kendall County Salute to Veterans is a 501c3 charity that has donated to Honor Flight, veterans housing programs, and our VAC emergency fund. We are accepting sponsorships for our event. Please call 630-514-4899 for information. Last year we served more than 415 individuals and more than 300 were thank you meals for veterans.
