Dear editor;
Libraries are one of the most important institutions in our community. Besides providing essentially free access to hours of entertainment and literature, they have a wealth of resources for all, including the homeless.
They hold events designed to promote community bonding, such as book clubs, career advising, and arts and crafts. Libraries are irreplaceable, and this country would be a much poorer place without them.
