With more than 30 years of experience, Sixth Ward alderman Mike Saville has demonstrated leadership, a willingness to listen, and a common sense approach to the issues facing the Sixth Ward and the city of Aurora.
From the days of directing the progress and resources needed concerning flooding issues in the Ward to the present day of balancing budgets, promoting business interests, and increasing the tax base, he strives to meet a balance between preserving and upgrading older areas, while supporting new economic expansion.
As an advocate of green spaces, the Sixth Ward enjoys six new parks in the last seven years. His sponsorship of projects such as the River Walk and RiverEdge Park have added beauty to our downtown area.
Experience and dedicated service matter when electing an alderman. Mike Saville has fulfilled that role in a paramount way. As a life-long resident of the Sixth Ward, his caring service is shown each day.
