Dear editor;
Silence is not golden. It has led to the massacre of tens of thousands in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Demands to increase humanitarian aid fail yet we keep supplying Israel with arms. The U.S. State Department has planned to sell $8 billion more weapons to Israel. Add that to the $17.9 billion in military aid we have provided Israel in the last 15 months.
Will the U.S. be prosecuted for war crimes? Will my name and yours, as a citizen of this country at this time, be added to the list?
Speak up to: Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth, representative Lauren Underwood; the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and urge to block this sale of arms to Israel and to end the travesty of genocide in Gaza.
