Repeat Boutique Center in Carol Stream has moved and is operating from its spacious new facility at 191 South Gary Avenue, Carol Stream. Conveniently near the corner of Gary Avenue and St. Charles Road, the ministry continues to serve those in need just as it has for 45 years. An open house will be held Wednesday, June 20.
Not a resale shop, Repeat Boutique’s mission is to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing material goods free of charge to people in need. Motivated by Proverbs 19:17, “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward him for what he has done, Repeat Boutique serves needy from all races, creeds, and ethnic backgrounds.”
Repeat Boutique was founded in 1973 in the home of the late Gaile Benson. It was her desire to update clothing of the missionaries returning to the states. In 2017, Repeat Boutique served 4,263 individuals [355 per month average; 2,358 visits] by providing vital material goods.
