The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was thrilled to celebrate new Chamber member Long Branch Tree Services with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Aug. 29. Previously named Granberg Tree Company, Long Branch Tree Services is co-owned by brothers Matthew and Cody Schuhow, who were long-time employees of Granberg.
Batavia mayor Jeffery Schielke presided over the celebration along with the two owners. Among the well-wishers were Batavia Chamber president Margaret Perreault, Patti Anselme, Chamber special events coordinator; and Shirley Mott, Chamber communications and membership coordinator; as well as Chamber ambassadors and board members. The local Batavia residents were also joined by many family members at the ribbon cutting.
